Flag Football Championship Game

Saturday afternoon, semester 4 and semester 5 faced off for the Saba Football League championship bragging rights and a trophy designed by Captain Redgloves himself (This is Faisal's alter ego on Booby Hill. With a record of 5-0, having defeated their last 2 opponents by scores of 35-0 and 35-0, the 4ths were in unfamiliar territory exchanging scores to a 21-21 tie at halftime. After some halftime adjustments and a couple of TD receptions and an interception by Redgloves, the enthusiasm and support of the amazing fans carried them to victory!

The Daniel Eckstein Trophy was awarded to the victors by Dr. Eckstein, the Saba Psych and Ethics professor who once played defensive back for Vince Lombardi and the Green Bay Packers. The celebration continued with some delicious chicken curry pizza before the players headed back home and the rain began to pour.
